Announced by the University of Pittsburgh: The dynamic and twice Grammy nominated Imani Winds have led a revolution and evolution of the wind quintet through their dynamic playing, dedication to new works from composers of color, imaginative collaborations, and programming concerts that speak to contemporary social justice issues. The Meursaalt Investigation Register Book Discussion November 4, 2022 6 PM EST (Virtual) The Consortium for Educational Resources on Islamic Studies (CERIS) invites educators to a discussion by Kamel Koued that offers humanizing retelling of accounts in Albert Camus’1942, The Stranger. The discussion will be led by Anour Rahmani, a writer and human rights defender from Algeria. His is an Artist Protection Fund Fellow in residence at Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of Modern Languages and City of Asylum. |
