Cities on the Edge: Urbanization, Sustainability, and the Future of Development

The world is rapidly urbanizing, presenting both opportunities and challenges. This course explores the dynamics of urbanization and its implications for sustainable development. Examine the social, economic, and environmental impacts of urban growth. Analyze strategies for managing urban challenges, such as housing shortages, traffic congestion, pollution, and social inequality. Discuss innovative solutions for creating livable, resilient, and sustainable cities for future generations. Each session has 3-4 experts that present for approximately 20 minutes each. We then have breakout rooms for Q&A with the experts.
