Are you curious as to why some Muslim women wear hijab? Do you want to find out what a Muslim man's hijab is? Ever wanted to try on a hijab? Come to the Muslim Student Association Islamic Awareness month event: The Hijab Panel! We will have a variety of speakers on the panel with different experiences with Hijab. Join us for an informative discussion with a Q&A afterwards (So have your questions prepared!) Finally, we will have two of our stylish Hijabis to help you try on a Hijab!

MEET OUR PANELISTS:

Kelcey: Started wearing hijab this past summer and reverted to Islam this fall. She has now started wearing niqab as of this January.

Reem M: Started wearing hijab her senior year of college. No one in her immediate family wears hijab.

Reem H: Has been wearing hijab for a while now. She grew up in the UAE and came here for college.

Raheel H: Will be talking about what a man's hijab is! iA

Professor Rasha: An Arabic professor from Syria who came here after marriage and has been wearing hijab for a while.
