Israel Gaza War: A conversation with Peter Beinart

ACMCU, the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies, and the Georgetown University MENA Forum invite you to a conversation with journalist and author Peter Beinart:
On Saturday, October 7 Hamas militants launched the most devastating attack on Israel since the 1973 Arab-Israeli War. This attack elicited an Israeli response that has led to mass civilian casualties in Gaza. Power, Electricity, Water, and Medicine have been blocked from entering Gaza, a territory which has been under blockade for 16 years. This historic moment will be discussed by Peter Beinart, a journalist, professor, and political commentator who has written three books, including The Crisis of Zionism.
Speaker Bio:
Peter Beinart is a journalist, professor, and political commentator. He has written for The New Republic, Time, The New York Times, and other publications and is a frequent contributor on the Palestinian-israeli conflict. At the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York he is a professor of Journalism and Political Science. He is a fellow at the Foundation for Middle East Peace, a political commentator for CNN and a contributor at The Atlantic, and an editor-at-large at Jewish Currents. He has written three books, including The Crisis of Zionism.
